‘twas within the twelve days of Christmas and all through the land
Foodlovers were preparing goodies by hand
There were recipes to taste and decisions on what to baste
And then should Xmas be a bbq or more of a formal do?
An edible gift to make, or a shopping trip to take
Shortbread or canapes , all for Christmas sake
A blog to write for the festive season,
This poem will have to do, so that is the reason
