- 250 g butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoon Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- dash of salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and Baileys. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Stir dry ingredients into butter mixture, add chocolate chips; mixing until well blended. Shape dough into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Fan bake butter cookies at 150°C for 20 minutes, or until just lightly browned.
