Chocolate Cake (Radio Live) by Helen Jackson

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 125 g butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 eggs, whisked

Method

Preheat oven to 180 C.

Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.

Make a well in the centre and pour in combined melted butter, milk, vanilla and eggs. Mix until a smooth batter.

Pour into a lined cake pan and bake for 50 minutes until cake tests cooked.
