Layered Lemon Cake – Annemarie Gibbs


Here is my entry for the competition, I used a recipe from food magazine.
The cake is a layered lemon cake with cream cheese frosting.

It was a real hit at the afternoon tea this afternoon, and I have an order to make another for a friend’s daughter’s birthday in June, a pink one this time.

  1. Have looked at all the cakes, this one is my fave due to it being lemon (my favourite) and beautiful, elegant swirls. Incidentally, you can use ‘own brand’ cream cheese – but it must be full fat (ime!)
