Sarah says “I made this cake for my friends wedding in March. Originally it was to be white roses and then the bride wanted pink so ………no sooner said than done!! I am not a professional but I enjoy creating and love the reactions of people I do cakes for. I used the fruit cake recipe from Alison Holst. I made all the roses and leaves from scratch out of flower paste. This is a time consuming exercise, as it has to be left to dry in between each stage. I was very pleased with the end result.”
