Mint Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 8 medium onions, peeled and halved
  • 1 1/2 cups seeded raisins
  • 475g green apples
  • 475g ripe tomatoes
  • 2 red chillis
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons mustard powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Method

Mince
or process together the mint, onions, raisins, apples, tomatoes and chillis.
Bring vinegar to the boil and add sugar, mustard and salt. Set aside to
cool.
Add the minced mint etc. and pour into sterilised jars and seal.
