Sausage Cornish Roll

Ingredients

  • 450g flaky pastry
  • 450g sausage meat
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 ½ cups cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

Preheat
oven to 200C (400 F) Roll out pastry to a large disk. Mix together sausage
meat, onion, apple, egg, rice, curry powder and salt and freshly ground
black pepper. Place on pastry and pull up edges to seal. Brush with egg.
Bake for 35 minutes.
