Blighs Cheese Biscuits (with rice bubbles)

Method

Bligh Stevenson from Hokitika was known for these delicious biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup rice bubbles (puffed rice)

Method

Preheat oven to 180 C. Melt the butter and combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Add the butter to the bowl and mix well. Place small balls on a cold tray and bake for 15-20 mintues until golden and firm.
