My children like warming these in the microwave so they are fudgy and chewy.

Ingredients

  • 125g dark chocolate
  • 125g butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup Dutch cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 100g white chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 2 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preheat oven to 160 C. Melt together chocolate and butter over a gentle heat or in the microwave.
Sift dry ingredients into a bowl and mix in melted chocolate and butter along with eggs and vanilla. Mix through white chocolate pieces. Place large spoonfuls of mixture on a tray and bake for 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
