Double Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup chocolate bits
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

Preheat oven to 190 C.
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and cocoa into a bowl. Add chocolate and
walnuts and make a well in the centre. Pour in butter, milk, egg and vanilla
and stir until just combined. Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake for
20 minutes or until springy on top.
