- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 100g butter/oil
- 3/4 cup mashed feijoa
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 180 C. Beat butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Sift in dry ingredients. Stir in feijoa and milk.
Pour batter into a well greased loaf tin. Bake approx 45 minutes. (less for fan forced).
Really nice with some dried fruit such as dates or sultanas added and then finished off with a lemon butter icing.
