Hot chocolate

Decadence in a cup!
serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups full cream milk
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 150g dark chocolate, chopped
  • cream, softly whipped
  • Ground cinnamon, optional

Method

In a small saucepan heat the milk, cream and sugar to a high simmer but not boiling. Remove from the heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring to melt it completely. You may need to return the saucepan to the heat to melt the chocolate completely.
Serve warm in small cups topped with softly whipped cream and a shake of cinnamon if desired.
