Pears poached in verjuice

These are a great accompaniment to sticky gingerbread and cream.

Ingredients

  • 4 pears
  • 500mls verjuice

Method

Peel pears, halve, quarter and remove core. Cut in half again if desired.
Place in a saucepan with the verjuice and gently poach until pears are tender.
