Spicy Basil Fish

Yield: 4


  • 500g firm white fish fillets
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 jar Valcom Thai Spicy Basil and Garlic Stir Fry Paste
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • pinch of sugar
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 lime, quartered


Dust the fish with the flour. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and pan fry the fish until golden and cooked through. Spoon over the basil and garlic paste, oyster sauce, fish sauce and sugar. Add a tablespoon of water to the pan as well. Simmer for a minute or two before removing from the heat and serving garnished with coriander leaves and wedges of lime.
