The recipe I use is a failsafe one from the Destitute Gourmet called Dana’s Chocolate Cake. I’ve used it so often now my recipe book is falling apart at that part in the book. My children’s friends request this cake for Shared Lunches at school and I must admit I usually whip up 4 at a time and freeze the extras. You never know when there’ll be a friend in need of a cake
