Chocolate mallow truffles

Method

These are my Grandaughters favourites

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed malt biscuits
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tin (200 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 24 Marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

 

Method

Mix cocoa, brown sugar and crushed biscuits together in a bowl. Pour in melted butter, vanilla and condensed milk and mix well. Shape biscuit mixture around each marshmallow and then roll in coconut (wet hands are good for this).
Place on a tray and refrigerate until set.
Store in the fridge
