Lentils du Puy

These gorgeous lentils are great with grilled or barbecued meat, particularly chicken.


  • 250g Lentils du Puy
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper


Cook Lentils in a saucepan of water for 20 minutes or until tender. Heat a little olive oil in a pan and cook onion and garlic until tender, stir through the cooked lentils and transfer to a serving bowl. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
