Sausage meat pie

  • 400g pack flaky pastry
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup cooked rice
  • salt and pepper
  • 500g sausagemeat (approximately, – one tube's about 454 g)
  • 1 apple, peeled and grated
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 egg


Preheat oven to 180 C
Roll out pastry and mix remaining ingredients together. cover half of pastry with the mixture. Fold pastry over and place on an oven tray. Cook for 40 minutes.
