Ingredients
- 250 g raisins
- 250 g sultanas
- 150 g currants
- 60 g mixed peel
- 125 g suet (can use butter), grated
- finely grated rind of 1 lemon
- juice and grated rind of 1 orange
- 75 g dried apricots, finely chopped
- 75 g blanched almonds, chopped
- 60 g glace ginger, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspooon mixed spice
- 150 g brown sugar
- 1 large green apples, grated
Method
Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well. Refrigerate overnight and then mix well again.
Store in sterlised jars.
