To gift wrap I wrap the logs in cellophane and tie the ends like a christmas cracker.
- 2 packets chocolate chippie biscuits
- 100 g butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup whiskey
- 400 g mixed dried fruit
- 200 g dark chocolate
Crush biscuits and set aside.
Beat butter and sugar until pale and creamy and mix in egg, whiskey, biscuits and dried fruit.
Roll into 4 evenly sized logs, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Melt dark chocolate and cover each log in chocolate. Allow to cool and set.
To serve, cut into slices with a hot knife.
