Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 100 ml cream
- 8 thick slices of white bread,crusts removed
- 200 g gruyere cheese, sliced
- 8 slices ham
- 1 tablespoon seed mustard
Method
Whisk together eggs and cream.
Arrange cheese and ham over 4 of the bread slices and spread with mustard, top with bread and then carefully dip sandwiches into egg mixture.
Fry sandwiches in a non stick pan over a medium-high heat until bread is golden and cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve at once.
