  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup plain flour (around 150-160 gram)
  • 1 small cup of sugar
  • 2 heaped dessertspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup peanuts, lightly roasted
  • pinch of salt
  • vanilla essence
  • 1 small teaspoon baking powder (this is optional)


Preheat oven to 180 C.
Melt butter, then cool it to lukewarm.

Beat in egg.

Add essence and the dry ingredients.

Place biscuits, slightly flattened, on baking paper or greased oven trays and bake moderate oven approx 15-20 minutes.
