  • 150g packet candy canes
  • 375g white chocolate melts (or white chocolate)
  • 375 dark chocolate melts or dark chocolate

Wrap candy canes in a tea towel or a thick brown paper bag and hit with a rolling pin until smashed into small pieces.
Gently melt white and dark chocolate in separate bowls either in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water.
Pour chocolate onto two foil lined boards and spread with a spatula until you get an even thin layer of chocolate.  Sprinkle over candy cane.
When set, break into rough pieces.

Store in an airtight container.

i have just tasted this and its sooo delicious, but the baker had made this with the two choc together, with the dark on the bottom then covered with the white, then the candy canes on top.
what im going to do is mix crushed oreo biscuits in with the milk choc, then top it with the melted white, then the crushed canes on top.i had to really search to find the xmas canes, wharehouse had them on sale, being post xmas.any suggestions as to which candy i could smash between now and next xmas?
