Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 sachet yeast
- 3/4 cup lukewarm milk
- 1 egg
- oil
- whipped cream
- icing sugar
Method
Mix flour, yeast, milk and egg together and knead until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a bowl, cover and leave to rest in a warm spot for 1 hour.
Using soup spoons dipped in oil make balls of dough. Heat enough oil in a saucepan to deep fry balls and cook in batches until golden. Make a small hole in each ball and fill with whipped cream, dust with icing sugar and serve.
