Christmas Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 500g pecans (or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter *half
  • 1/4 cup sugar *quarter
  • 2 tablespoons sherry
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

Dry roast pecans at 180 C for 15 minutes taking care that they do not burn. Remove from oven and toss with butter, sugar, sherry, nutmeg and salt.
When cool store in an air tight container.
