While this can be frozen the texture is much nicer if eaten straight away. It will become icy if frozen.

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen bananas
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup milk

Method

Pulse banana in a food processor until slushy. Add blueberries and milk and mix until well combined and relatively smooth.
Serve at once.

  1. Hi this is our family’s fav ice cream only we use frozen strawberries or mixed berries and the frozen banana is sliced up and frozen free flow. We use cream instead of milk but also tried it with yoghurt and a squeeze if runny honey .. Was inspired by an Alison Holst cookery demo at local library she used only strawberries (frozen) and cream but the frozen banana is the key to it I think!
