Chocolate Dip for Ice Cream

This is even better than the chocolate dip that I remember as a child.
It sets to a crisp shell and is so easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 90g vegetable shortening (kremelta)
  • 60g dark cocoa
  • 60g icing sugar (confectioners sugar)
  • splash of vanilla extract

Method

Melt the kremelta and mix with the combined and sifted cocoa and icing sugar.  Add a splash of vanilla and mix until smooth.

You may need to warm it a bit more to make it a good dipping consistency for ice cream.
