This is even better than the chocolate dip that I remember as a child.
It sets to a crisp shell and is so easy to make.
- 90g vegetable shortening (kremelta)
- 60g dark cocoa
- 60g icing sugar (confectioners sugar)
- splash of vanilla extract
Melt the kremelta and mix with the combined and sifted cocoa and icing sugar. Add a splash of vanilla and mix until smooth.
You may need to warm it a bit more to make it a good dipping consistency for ice cream.
