Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1 cup sultanas
Method
Preheat the oven to 200 C.
beat together butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add the milk alternately with the sifted dried ingredients and sultanas.
Gently mix together.
Place spoonfuls of batter into patty pans and bake for 12 minutes until golden and springy to the touch.
