Ingredients
- 1kg lamb cubed
- 3 tablespoons flour ( you can use wholemeal)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mixed spice
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tsp green herb stock
- 2 tblsp vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 2 tablespoon water
- 3 tablespoons sherry
Method
Combine dry ingredients in the crockpot then mix to a paste with vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Add water, tomato puree ,and sherry mixed together. Put the lamb or beef into the crockpot or slow cooker and stir until the sauce is mixed through the meat. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
