  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 cup water
  • food colouring/s


Place salt, glour, cream of tarter, cooking oil and water in a saucepan. Stir over a medium heat and bring to the boil.
Boil for 3 minutes, then remove from heat. When cool enough to handle tiop onto a bench and knead. As you knead
add food colouring. I break it into three for three colours.
