Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour milk or plain yoghurt
- ¾ cup cocoa
- 200g soft butter
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups self-raising flour
- 1 cup hot strong coffee
Method

Preheat the oven to 160 C.
Put all ingredients into a food processor or cake mixer bowl in the order given. Process or beat for 1 minute. Turn into a greased, lined 23cm cake tin.
Bake for 1 hour, or until skewer comes out cleanly.
