Soda Bread

Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
  • 30g butter
  • 300 mls milk

Method

Sieve
dry ingredients into a bowl and rub in butter until mixture resembles coarse
bread crumbs. Mix to a soft dough with the milk and knead into shape. Place
in a greased and floured tin and bake at 200 C for 30 minutes.
