Ingredients
- 125 g butter 1/4lb (quarter)
- 1 cup flour
- 3-4 drops tabasco sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup puffed rice cereal
Method
Prheat oven to 180 C.
Cream together the butter and flour at low speed. Add tabasco and salt. Gradually add cheese, beating at low speed until combined with butter and flour. Stir in cereal.
Form in small balls the size of over-sized marbles. Flatten on slightly greased cookie sheet with floured tines of fork.
Bake 10-13 minuted until golden brown.
Serve warm or cool.
