Chia Breakfast Bowl

Often known as chia puddings these little bowls of goodness are such a great way to start the day.
Make them with the milk you like best and top with seasonal fruit.

Yield: 2


  • 2 cups almond milk (or coconut, soy etc...)
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup Greek style yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons toasted coconut chips
  • fresh berries


Pour the almond milk into a bowl and sprinkle over the chia seeds.  Stir until the mixture thickens.  Distribute between two bowls and then refrigerate overnight.
To serve, top with yoghurt, maple syrup, toasted coconut and berries or chopped fruit.
