- 2 ½ cups flour
- 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ cup icing sugar
- 60g butter
- ½ cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 36 Hersheys kisses, wrappers removed
Preheat oven to 210 C.
Sift flour, baking powder and sugar. Make a well in the centre. Melt the
butter and add peanut butter, milk and beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly, then
pour into the well. Stir until the dry ingredients are dampened – do not
over mix. Lightly grease deep muffin tins and place a large spoonful of
the mixture into each of the muffin tins. Add 3 Hershey\'s kisses to each
muffin and then spoon over remaining mixture to ¾ fill each muffin tin.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are springy to touch and golden brown.
