Ingredients
- 125g butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 150ml hot water
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 3 sliced bananas

- 3 cups brown sugar
- 75g butter
- 300mls cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Method
Preheat oven to 190 C Mix together butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add with the bananas and flour. Pour mix into a lasagne dish and bake for 35 minutes. Place sauce ingredients into a saucepan heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour the sauce over the pudding, making a few pricks in surface of pudding. Cook for few extra minutes and then serve.
