Ingredients
- 1 cup bran
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Method
Preheat oven to 180 C
Soak bran in milk and syrup. Add remaining ingredients. Add 1 tsp ginger or cinnamon or 1/2 C fruit if wished. Mix lightly till just combined. Spoon into muffin pans. Bake for 20 mins. Can be frozen, if not devoured before they have a chance to cool.
