Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
Melt butter in a saucepan and add flour, stir constantly for 3-4 minutes until it starts to colour. Add milk and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Allow to bubble gently for 5 minutes until it starts to thicken, stir in cheese and serve
