Stuffed Cob Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cob loaf
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 stalks silverbeet, sliced
  • 1 pkt spring vegetable soup
  • 250g sour cream
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

 

Method

Preheat oven to 200 C.
Slice off top of cob loaf and remove centre. Place on oven tray with pieces
of centre around the outside. Place onion, sliverbeet, soup mix, sour cream,
cream cheese and mayonnaise in a microwave jug and heat for around 1 minute
or until cream cheese has melted sufficiently to mix.
Pour into bread and bake for 15 minutes.
Serve warm

  1. I shouldn’t look at these on fast sunady. Panchito in Cartersville made us chilaquiles the first time i ever had them and they weren’t fried duros, and i loved them. I prefer them a little soft still. But panbazos or Laura’s mole? Sweet sassy molassey that would hit the spot.
