Ingredients
- 60g butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups self raising flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon (for sauce) cocoa
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
Method
Beat butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add milk and then gently mix in dry ingredients.
Pour mixture into a microwavable bowl, smooth the top then gently pour over combined cocoa, golden syrup boiling water and sugar using a spoon to pour over so it doesn't make a hole in the batter.
Lightly cover and cook on high for 12 minutes.
Easy to make and even more easier to EAT MMMMMM!
Twas the best dessert ever. Highly recommend you attempt to make this… But please, rookie mistake… Don’t use salt instead of sugar, nor use soy sauce instead of golden syrup

Delicious! In a flat with boys and they couldn’t believe how fast I whipped this up. Absolutely devine comfort food. Make sure you cover the bowl with a plate or paper towel. =)
