Ingredients
- 125g
- butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups self raising flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Method
Place
butter, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and water in a microwave dish and heat
on high for 3-4 minutes.
Add eggs and mix well, mix in flour and salt.
Pour into a ring tin and cook on high for 7 minutes

So delicious. Had to make with gluten free flour which usually makes it dry but it was absolutely gorgeous. Hope to make it again v soon.
This is a quick and nice tasting cake, I followed the recipe verbatim. Next time I will grease the baking mould which may help the cake to not stick. Cake was even nicer the next day.
this works well but I find that I need to double the flour and it works fine.
This is an absolutely fabulous recipe. I use baking powder instead of baking soda. It’s a success everytime. I’ve even forgotten how to bake a cake in the stove oven. Try this cake with frosting made with real chocolate :-)
