Ingredients
- 1 kg tomatoes
- 1 kg apples
- 2 onions, peeled and chopped
- 1 kg sugar
- 250g raisins
- 45g salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 cups vinegar
Method
Peel
and chop tomatoes and apples. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring
to the boil. Cook for 1 hour and pour into sterilised jars and seal.
