Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 dessertspoons water
- pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 teaspoons cornflour
Method
Preheat oven to 150 C, Beat egg whites until soft peaks, add water a dessertspoon at a time and beat. Add sugar gradually beating well. Lastly mix in cornflour, salt, vanilla and vinegar. Cook at 150 C for 1 hour, then leave for another hour with oven off.

Have made this twice in the last month (July 2020) added 1 tablespoon And 1 teaspoon of cornflour rather than 3 tsp.(I love the marshmallow inside!) Has turned out beautifully and only have to use up three egg yolks rather than five. Super recipe thank you so much Xx
