Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 dessertspoon sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- milk to mix
- 1 dessertspoon butter, melted
- 1 dessertspoon golden syrup, warmed
Method
Beat egg and sugar until creamy. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with
milk, mix to a thick batter until smooth. Add melted butter and golden syrup.
Drop spoonfuls onto a hot greased heavy based frypan and cook until golden
on both sides.
