Self Crusting Quiche


  • 3 eggs
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ½ cup self raising flour
  • 1½ cups milk
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • filling as desired – bacon, mushrooms, salmon, tomatoes, peppers etc

Preheat oven to 150 C. Place all ingredients in a plastic container with a fitted
lid and shake for 1 minute. Add chopped filling ingredients and then pour
into a greased quiche dish. Bake for 30-40 minutes.

  3. i love this have made it a few times when i found the recipe on the inside of an egg carton lol but this one has way better cooking directions tasted way better then the recipe from the carton excellent job will be making this for years to come and will probly pass it on to all my family and friends :)

  7. I love it! Especially when you need to make something quick and do not have pastry available, this self crusting quiche is perfect. Taste good too. A keeper this recipe!
